The Curse of the River Bure – ‘Escape Room’ SUP Experience

The Curse of the River Bure – ‘Escape Room’ SUP Experience

Go Paddle Norfolk

You’ve heard of Escape Rooms? Now take it outside! This Go Paddle experience is the first of its kind, designed for people – and sleuths – who’ve paddled before. Use your paddling skills and finest Sherlock mindset in this escape style SUP adventure on the water. You’ve got 120 minutes to unravel the mysterious fate of a missing fisherman and lift the fiendish curse of the River Bure.

The disappearance of Henry Wilson – a keen and popular fisherman – has shaken the village of Horning to its core. When he vanished the village lost his respected leadership and has fallen into a bleak period of despair and suffering. Now a grisly relic has been discovered in the oozy river mud and speculation has resurfaced about what dark forces have caused a relentless blight on this area of Horning. Your team of paddlers are the best hope for deciphering the new information and restoring joy and prosperity to the village.

This is a private session for your group of 4-8 players, with a minimum of 4 paid places per booking and a maximum of 8 people. Go Paddle’s unique mystery experience is a fun, healthy way to use mind and body in the open air, fabulous for exercise and escapism.

Want the eco credentials? Go Paddle uses environmentally friendly boards and produces cool items made from recycled wetsuits. Their merch is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles and if they spot litter on the river, they head out for a river clean!
